My sister is graduating!
I'm immensely proud of this girl. She has worked so hard to get through her undergrad degree. She's going to do great things, this woman. She's my little sister, but she's more mature and focused than I could ever claim to be. I'm lucky to have her!
We went over to Northwestern State University's campus in Natchitoches, Louisiana, the Susan Harling Robinson Memorial Park (also in Natchitoches,) and we used the exterior of the Natchitoches location of the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame Museum off of Front Street.
Did you know that the Susan Harling Robinson Memorial Park is the park dedicated to it's namesake, the woman that inspired the screenplay and later movies "Steel Magnolias"? It's such a sweet and serene place nestled inside a quiet neighborhood right off of the main and most traveled streets in Natchitoches. It's the perfect place for getting away from all the noise and traffic.
These are my most favorite locations in Natchitoches, and she seems to think they are just as beautiful, so she was game. We went out an hour and a half before sunset, so we had this beautiful lighting to work with. Her hair and that dress were perfect for the locations. I'd also love to take this moment to shout out to my assistant camera bag wrangler, Madison, for helping us out this day.
